At the beginning of 2022, the development of the foreign trade is surprising. Although the first half of the year is an off-season for the foreign trade industry, the downturn in the market is unexpected. Foreign trade may never return to its former prosperity. We as foreign trade practitioners can only adapt to the situation and change ourselves to adapt to the severe external market environment.
I personally think that the overseas market in 2022 will have the following 4 characteristics:
①The European market continues to be sluggish, and Southeast Asia may become a new breakthrough. For example, Vietnam, Indonesia and other countries. Many productive companies may move to these countries. Conditional people can consider investing in these countries;
②The demand for smart home, kitchen appliances and daily necessities in the European and American markets is increasing;
③ It is very unlikely that a new brand or a new product will be best seller quickly. In the current situation, trying to sell products without marketing is a fool's errand;
④ The competition in the low-end product market has been upgraded. There will continue to be difficult situations for companies which focus in the low-end market.
